Welcome to Wayne White’s blog. Wayne is a third generation White here in the Dufferin area. Together with his wife Wanda, they volunteer and serve this community on a regular basis. We are very lucky to have Wayne share some of his experiences and photos of all that makes living in Dufferin incredible. Wayne is ALWAYS On the Move!!!
Wayne was able to attend some of the many activities that Dufferin County hosted the last couple of months. Wayne shares some of the highlights this summer.
Wayne White has been out enjoying this lovely weather we have been having here in Dufferin County. He has recently visited the Island Lake Conservation Area to check out the new signage installed along the trail system.
Did you know that Orangeville has five creeks? Wayne spent some time with Phil Bird to learning about the five creeks in and around the Orangeville area that lead either to Island Lake Conservation or Credit Creek.
Wayne White has been On The Move out enjoying the sweet sounds of the Orangeville Ukuladies. This group of retired school teachers enjoy entertaining our seniors in Orangeville and Shelburne as well as younger generations at Credit Meadows Public School. But that’s not all, they give back to our community by fundraising for the Coldest Night of the Year.
Wayne White had the opportunity to sit down with Deputy Chief Leah Gilfoy. The two talk about her roles in the community as well as some of the great features Gilfoy likes about Orangeville.
